Our Jaipuri kurtis are original hand block printed pieces, created using traditional printing techniques. Because each piece is individually printed by hand, slight variations in print, colour and texture are a natural part of the craft.
These are not machine-printed garments, so they should be cared for gently.

For All Roopsee Jaipuri Kurtis
• Hand wash separately in cold water. 
• Use a mild detergent and avoid harsh or strong cleaning agents. 
• Do not soak for long periods. A short, gentle wash is best. 
• Do not bleach or use fabric softeners. • Gently squeeze out excess water. Avoid vigorous rubbing or wringing. 
• Dry in the shade, preferably inside out. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 
• Iron on the reverse side using a low to medium heat setting. 
• Store only when completely dry and preferably away from prolonged direct sunlight.

Important Care for Indigo
Indigo is a traditional natural dye with a character of its own. Some colour bleeding during washing is expected, especially during the first few washes. The indigo may also gradually soften and fade with washing and wear. This natural evolution of colour is part of the beauty and character of an indigo hand block printed garment.

Please wash your indigo kurti separately. Do not wash it together with light-coloured or white garments, as colour transfer can occur.

Avoid soaking the indigo kurti, as prolonged contact with water can increase colour release. Over time, the print will develop a softer, more lived-in character.
